Hormone Replacement Therapy

Balanced hormones for optimal health

Hormones act like your body’s traffic signals, quietly guiding how you feel and function. When they’re out of balance, everything can start to feel off.

At Terrain Health, we look beyond symptoms to understand the why. Gut health imbalances, inflammation, and chronic stress are often part of the bigger picture, but no two cases are the same. We help connect the dots and create a workable plan, including personalized hormone replacement therapy, so feeling better becomes your normal instead of a goal.

How Does Hormone Replacement Therapy Help?

It's normal to feel frustrated when the symptoms do not seem to add up. An estimated 80% of women will go through some part of life with a hormonal imbalance. We patients across all life stages with:

  • Acne, thinning hair, skin changes
  • Anxiety, low mood, irritability
  • Hot flashes, night sweats, sleep problems
  • Bone density loss, poor muscle tone
  • Vaginal dryness, low libido
  • PCOS and menstrual irregularity
  • Weight gain or plateaus

…and many more.

Whole Body Analysis, Including Detailed Hormone Panels

A complete health history is taken in the context of your life, who you are, where you’ve been, and where you’re going, with close attention to medical history, epigenetics, and lifestyle choices. Advanced testing is used to better understand hormone health, including the DUTCH test, which offers a detailed snapshot of current hormone balance and helps guide personalized hormone replacement therapy recommendations.

We Dive Deep To Understand Hormonal Issues

At Terrain Health, we test multiple omics including the gut microbiome, nutritional genomics, your metabolome, and your exposome. Next generation biomarkers and hormone analysis are used to bring the full picture together. All of this data is incorporated to understand your biochemical individuality and what is happening at a cellular level, supporting health, healing, and longevity. Scientific testing may also include blood, stool, and DNA, allowing us to precisely focus on your individual challenges and determine the most appropriate hormone replacement therapy approach.

Personalized Plans & Ongoing Support

Our team works with you side by side. We'll help you make choices about nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress that are realistic, not overwhelming, and monitor progress so you can always know your next step, including guidance on adjusting hormone replacement therapy over time.

Foundations We Prioritize

  • Nutrition you can maintain: protein at meals, fiber and healthy fats, stable blood sugar
  • Restorative sleep: regular schedule, relaxing wind-down, morning light
  • Stress tools that fit: 2–5 minute breathing resets, realistic boundaries
  • Exercise that works for you: steps, strength, mobility, tailored to your joints and your schedule
  • Targeted supplements: only when they add clear value and are safe with your meds
