Terrain Health Insurance Policy
OUT-OF-NETWORK PROVIDER
Terrain Health is an out-of-network healthcare provider. This means that Terrain Health does not participate in the provider networks of insurance companies, and we do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.
Most of our appointments are eligible for reimbursement depending on your precise benefits. Appointments with Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and Health Coaches can be submitted to your insurance company and generally count towards your out of network deductible. Terrain Health cannot predict how much your insurance company will reimburse you, or how often they will reimburse you.
CONTACTING YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY
Depending on your health insurance plan, expenses incurred for services provided by Terrain Health may be covered, may be partially covered, or may not be covered by your insurance company.
Each member bears the responsibility for contacting their individual insurance carriers to understand their precise benefits and potential for reimbursement.
As a policy, Terrain Health does not communicate with any insurance companies on behalf of its members. Communication with insurance companies is the responsibility of individual members.
SUPERBILLS
Terrain Health produces monthly superbills for its members at their request. Superbills are properly coded invoices to be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement. This process is rigorous and time-consuming, therefore, we do not automatically generate superbills unless requested by members, but we are happy to take the time for our members when asked.
